How to Identify & Report Suspicious Activity

Your safety and trust are at the heart of the Mad Paws community. If you see a message, booking request, or account behaviour that feels suspicious, it’s important to report it straight away.

If something seems suspicious, it most likely is. Do NOT engage and contact customer support to verify.- Mad Paws will never as you to verify payment information using links.


What Counts as Suspicious Activity?

  • Requests to communicate or pay outside of Mad Paws
  • Unusual or pushy booking behaviour (e.g. offering high payment to book offline)
  • Messages with external links or attachments
  • Fake profiles, misleading information, or inconsistencies in communication
  • Inappropriate or unsafe requests

How to Report Suspicious Activity

  1. From Messages or Bookings

    • Do not reply.
    • Decline the booking request.
  2. Through the App or Website

    • Click the “Help” bubble a the lower right hand corner.
  3. Direct Contact

    • Email: support@madpaws.com.au
    • Live Chat: Available on the app or website

What Happens Next?

  • Our Trust & Safety team reviews the report.
  • The account may be suspended while we investigate.
  • You’ll be updated once the issue is resolved.
