Managing bookings with "Anti-Social" pets requires understanding their specific socialisation tags and planning accordingly. These tags affect your profile’s visibility during the booking period and help ensure the safety and comfort of all pets and individuals involved.

Instructions

  1. Understand "Anti-Social" Tags
    • Pets are tagged as "Anti-Social" based on their socialisation behaviour in these categories:
      • Dog Socialisation: Sometimes friendly, never friendly.
      • Cat Socialisation: Sometimes friendly, never friendly, not sure.
      • Child Socialisation: Nervous, assertive, I don't know.
  2. View the Pet Profile
    • Log in to your Mad Paws account.
    • Open the pet profile linked to the booking.
    • Navigate to the Basics tab to check the pet’s socialisation status.
  3. Prepare for the Booking
    • Discuss the pet’s specific needs with the Pet Owner to understand how to handle their behaviour.
    • Make arrangements to minimise potential conflicts, especially if you are caring for other pets or children during the booking period.
  4. Impact on Profile Visibility
    • Once the booking is paid and confirmed, your profile will not appear in search results for the dates of the booking with the "Anti-Social" pet.
    • This feature is designed to prevent conflicts and ensure safety during the booking period.
  5. Plan Future Bookings
    • If you rely on multiple bookings, plan your availability around the potential impact of managing an "Anti-Social" pet.
    • Update your calendar to reflect your adjusted availability for other bookings.
