If a Pet Owner has yet to confirm a booking, there are simple steps to help keep the booking on track. Pet Owners may sometimes need a reminder to complete their part of the process, and Mad Paws provides automated assistance to ensure funds are released on time.

Instructions

1. Send a Friendly Reminder

Message the Pet Owner with a polite reminder to confirm the end of the booking. Highlight that this step helps finalise the process and allows them to leave a review.

2. Rely on Automated Reminders

Mad Paws will send automated notifications to the Pet Owner, prompting them to confirm the booking.

3. Automatic Release of Funds

If the Pet Owner doesn’t confirm within 7 days, the system will automatically mark the booking as complete and release the funds to your balance.

Update: There will no longer be an automatic star rating applied to bookings that are auto-completed after 7 days if the Owner does not manually confirm the end of stay. Reviews will only be left if the Owner chooses to submit one.
