Your Safety as a Mad Paws Sitter

1min read

Share

Your safety is a priority. While the Mad Paws Guarantee covers eligible pet and third-party incidents, it does not cover sitter personal safety. You are supported through platform safeguards and can refuse or stop any booking at any time.

What to Do

  • Trust your instincts — stop or avoid bookings if something feels unsafe
  • Keep all communication and payments on-platform
  • Do not attend or continue a Meet & Greet if uncomfortable
  • Report concerns immediately to Mad Paws Support
  • Contact Support anytime for guidance

Safety Measures

  • Account monitoring – risky or repeated complaints are reviewed
  • On-platform messaging – ensures issues can be tracked and acted on
  • Incident action – accounts may be restricted or removed after review
  • Flexible bookings – you can decline or stop services at any stage

Important Note

The Mad Paws Guarantee does not apply to sitter personal injury or safety concerns. It only applies to eligible pet and third-party claims during valid bookings.
