Providing an Emergency Contact is a required step when paying for a booking on Mad Paws. This ensures your pet’s safety throughout the service. Your sitter or the Mad Paws team may contact this person if we are unable to reach you during the booking.

Follow the steps below to add your Emergency Contact when paying for your booking:

  1. Log in to your Mad Paws account.

  2. Go to your Bookings and select the booking you wish to pay for.

  3. Click Make a Payment.

  4. You will be taken to the payment page.

  5. Enter your Emergency Contact details in the Emergency Contact section.

  6. Proceed with your payment as usual.

Why an Emergency Contact Is Required:

Your Emergency Contact acts as a backup point of communication. They may be contacted if:

  • You are unreachable during the booking.
  • There is an urgent matter involving your pet.
  • The sitter needs timely assistance or clarification.

Having this information helps us ensure your pet receives the best care at all times.

Choosing an Emergency Contact

  • Choose someone who is easily reachable.
  • Ensure they are aware they may be contacted.
  • Pick someone who can make decisions on your behalf if needed.

Emergency Contact Information

  • You can also provide your emergency contact details during your Meet & Greet. Simply write the information on the Mad Paws Meet & Greet Form, so your sitter has direct access to it if needed.
