Available on Mobile/Desktop Browser or App? ✅ Yes, accessible on both mobile and web platforms.

A complete and well-presented profile helps us approve your Pet Sitter account faster — and helps Pet Owners feel confident booking with you! Before submitting your profile for review, make sure you’ve checked all the boxes below.

Accepted ID Types

To verify your profile, you’ll need to upload one of the following valid IDs:

  • Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Australian Proof of Age Card
  • Australian Passport
  • International Passport + Australian Photo ID
  • International Passport + Australian-issued Police Check (within 12 months from issue date)

⚠️ Only clear, valid, and current documents are accepted.

Quality Bio Content

Your bio helps Pet Owners understand who you are and why you love caring for pets. It must be at least 150 characters and include:

  • Your love for pets and why you want to be a sitter
  • Your experience with animals (mention specific breeds or sizes if applicable)
  • Your work setup or lifestyle (e.g., “I work from home and can keep pets company all day”)
  • Details about your home environment and safety features (e.g., fenced yard, lockable gate)
  • A bit about your personality — let owners get to know you!

💡 Tip: Write naturally and authentically. A friendly, detailed bio attracts more bookings.

Profile Photo

Make sure you upload one clear, professional-looking photo of yourself.

Do’s: ✅ Clear, bright image where your face is visible ✅ Friendly and approachable expression

Don’ts: 🚫 Blurry or low-quality photos 🚫 Revealing or inappropriate clothing (e.g., topless, bikinis) 🚫 Hidden faces or heavy filters (masks are okay if the sitter can still be clearly identified)

Carousel Photos

Your profile should include at least 2 photos in the carousel that:

  • Are clear, well-lit, and professional-looking
  • Show your love for animals (e.g., photos with pets, your home setup, or play spaces)

📩 If your profile lacks quality photos, you’ll receive an “Add More Photos” email before it can be approved.

Final Check

Make sure your:

  • ID is valid and clear
  • Bio meets content and character requirements
  • Profile and carousel photos meet the image guidelines

Once everything looks great, your profile will move through our verification process faster — and you’ll be ready to start meeting pets and owners in no time!
