Mad Paws experiences a spike in booking requests during key holiday periods. These times are important for Sitters to review their **availability** and **pricing**, as higher demand may justify applying a seasonal surcharge.

## Instructions

* **Christmas Period**
  The surcharge applies during the **Christmas and New Year holiday period**, when many Pet Owners travel and seek care for their pets.


* **Easter Period**
  Covers the **Easter long weekend** and the **adjoining school holidays**, which see a spike in bookings.


* **Winter Holidays**
  Applied during the **school holidays in July**, when families often go on winter getaways.

**Spring Holidays**
Takes effect during the **October school holidays**, another busy travel time for Pet Owners.
