# What Other Documents Are Accepted to Get a Police Check Badge?

In addition to a standard police check, Mad Paws accepts a **Working With Children (WWC) Check** issued within the last 12 months in Australia as a valid document to obtain a Police Check Badge.

## **Instructions**


1. **Check Document Eligibility**
   * Ensure your WWC Check was issued:
     * Within the last 12 months.
     * In Australia.
   * Expired or international WWC Checks are not eligible.
2. **Upload Your WWC Check**
   * Log in to your Mad Paws account.
   * Go to your dashboard and navigate to the **Verification** section.
   * Select **Upload Police Check** and upload your WWC Check document.
3. **Allow Time for Processing**
   * Badge approval typically takes up to 7 business days after uploading a valid document.
4. **Check Your Profile**
   * Once your WWC Check is approved, the Police Check Badge will be displayed on your profile.
