# What If The Pet Owner Doesn’t Confirm?

If a Pet Owner has yet to confirm a booking, there are simple steps to help keep the booking on track. Pet Owners may sometimes need a reminder to complete their part of the process, and Mad Paws provides automated assistance to ensure funds are released on time.

## Instructions 


1. **Send a Friendly Reminder**

Message the Pet Owner with a polite reminder to confirm the end of the booking. Highlight that this step helps finalise the process and allows them to leave a review. 

**2. Rely on Automated Reminders**

Mad Paws will send automated notifications to the Pet Owner, prompting them to confirm the booking. 

**3. Automatic Release of Funds**

If the Pet Owner doesn’t confirm within 7 days, the system will automatically mark the booking as complete and release the funds to your balance. 

**Update**: There will no longer be an automatic star rating applied to bookings that are auto-completed after 7 days if the Owner does not manually confirm the end of stay. Reviews will only be left if the Owner chooses to submit one.
