## **Instructions**

1. **Contact the Pet Owner Immediately**
   * Inform the Pet Owner and their emergency contact as soon as you become aware the pet is missing.
   * Continue providing updates throughout the search.

2. **Search the Local Area**
   * Check nearby streets, parks, and places the pet may be familiar with.
   * Ask neighbours or local businesses if they have seen the pet.

3. **Notify Local Services**
   * Contact local veterinary clinics, animal shelters, council rangers, the RSPCA, and any relevant local authorities.

4. **Notify Mad Paws**
   * Contact Mad Paws as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after the incident occurs.
   * Provide details about when, where, and how the pet went missing, along with any steps already taken.

5. **Use Community Resources**
