# What Fees Are The Pet Owners Charged?

Mad Paws charges a small booking fee to help maintain high-quality service, cover support costs, and ensure sitter safety through screening and ID checks.

## **Instructions**

1. **Review the Booking Fee, which applies to all new Pet Owners as of the following dates:**

   * F*or Victoria residents: signed up after 11:59 pm AEST on April 17th, 2017*

   * *For all other states (excluding Victoria): signed up after 9:15 am AEST on May 30th, 2017*
2. **Note that Owners who joined Mad Paws before these dates are not subject to the Booking Fee.**
3. **Check your booking details page to view the total Booking Fee before payment.**
4. **Keep in mind: the Booking Fee is non-refundable once paid, unless your Pet Sitter cancels the booking.**

The **Booking Fee** covers platform and support costs to ensure a smooth, safe pet-sitting experience.
