# Sitter Guide: How Do I Pause A Repeat Weekly Bookings?

Mad Paws makes it easy to pause Repeat Weekly Bookings (RWB) when you need a break from the regular schedule, such as during holidays. Follow these steps to temporarily pause your booking.

## **Instructions (From the Web Browser)**

1. **Edit the Booking to Remove Days**

   If you don’t need the usual pet services for specific days, go to your booking and remove the days you want to skip. For example, if you won’t need dog walks on certain dates, deselect those days in the booking.

2. **Example of Pausing Days**

   Suppose you don’t need dog walks on Tuesday and Wednesday of the week starting June 17. Edit the booking to remove these days, setting the start and end dates as June 18–19. You won’t be charged for services on these dates, but regular billing will resume the following week.

3. **Update the Booking**

   Once you’ve made your changes, click Update. Your sitter will be notified, and the paused days will appear shaded out in your calendar.
4. **For Paid Bookings**

   Pausing is only available for unpaid bookings. To cancel already-paid bookings, contact Support with a refund request and include the Booking Number in your message.
