# PayPal Payment Removal

PayPal is being removed as Mad Paws moves to Stripe. During the transition, some users may still see PayPal at checkout, but once the rollout is complete, PayPal (including Pay in 4) will no longer be available.

## **What’s Changing**

Mad Paws is migrating all payments to **Stripe**, which does not support PayPal as a checkout option.

During the transition period:

* Some users may still see PayPal at checkout
* Others may no longer see PayPal as an option
* Availability will vary depending on rollout progress

Once fully completed:

* PayPal will no longer be available for any bookings
* This includes PayPal and PayPal Pay in 4
* Only card payments (debit/credit) will be supported

## **Instructions**


1. **Check available payment options at checkout**
   PayPal will only be available if it appears on the payment screen.
2. **Use available payment methods**
   If PayPal is not visible, complete payment using a debit or credit card.
3. **Understand availability is temporary during transition**
   PayPal access may differ between users while migration is in progress.
4. **Do not request manual PayPal processing**
   If PayPal is not shown, it cannot be enabled by Support or the system.

Use this standard response:

> “We no longer offer PayPal as a payment method at checkout. If PayPal is not displayed as an option, it is not available for your booking.”
