# My Sitter Profile Has Been Approved but Isn’t Visible

Available on Mobile/Desktop Browser or App? ✅ Yes, accessible on all platforms.

## Why This Happens

If your sitter profile has been approved but you can’t find it in search results, this is usually expected behaviour and not an issue with your approval.

## **Things to Check**

1. **Make Sure You’re NOT Logged In**

Approved sitter profiles do not appear in public search results when you’re logged in to your own account.

**What to do:**

* Log out of your Mad Paws account.
* Refresh the page and search again.
* Or open Mad Paws in an incognito/private browser.

2. **Check Your Services and Pet Types**

Your profile will only appear if it matches the search criteria.

**Make sure:**

* The services you offer are switched on.
* The pet types you accept (e.g. dogs, cats) are enabled in your profile.

3. **Check Your Calendar Availability**

If your calendar is blocked or unavailable on selected dates, your profile won’t appear in search results for those dates.

## FAQs

* **Why can I see my profile, but others can’t?**
You’ll always be able to view your own profile, even if it’s filtered out of public search results.

* **Does approval mean I’ll always appear in search?**

Approval allows your profile to appear, but visibility depends on search filters, availability, and services selected.

* **Will my profile show immediately once it’s approved?**

Upon approval, please allow up to 24 - 48 hours for the website to load your profile in public.

## Tips

* Ask a friend to search for your profile while logged out.
* Broaden search filters (dates, services) when checking visibility.
* Allow a short time for recent updates to reflect across the platform.
