Approving a booking request on Mad Paws is a straightforward way to secure the perfect care for your pet. Once you've reviewed a pet sitter's availability and discussed any specific requirements, you can proceed to approve the booking, confirming that your pet's needs will be met.

## Declining a Booking Request (From the App)


1. Log In
2. Go to ‘Bookings’

3. Select the  ‘Pending’ Booking Request

5. Tap ‘Decline’ button

  *If a booking request is not approved, the request will expire and the Pet Owner will not be able to proceed in making a payment.*

  
* **Can I cancel a booking after it’s been approved?**

  *Yes, you may still cancel a booking even after it’s been approved.*

  


* **The owner is unable to make a payment.**

  *Make sure that the booking status is changed to ‘Approved’. That’s the only time that the Pet Owner will see the option to make a payment.*
