# Emergency! Lost Pet

If your pet goes missing during a booking, act quickly. Fast coordination and early notification help improve the chances of a safe return and ensure the incident can be reviewed under the Mad Paws Guarantee.

## **Instructions**

### **1. Confirm the last known details**

Check with your Pet Sitter:

* When and where your pet was last seen
* What happened before they went missing

### **2. Start searching immediately**

Search nearby and familiar areas:

* Streets and neighbourhood
* Parks and usual walking routes
* Known hiding spots

### **3. Contact local support**

Reach out to:

* Local vets
* Animal shelters and pounds
* Council animal services
* RSPCA

### **4. Notify Mad Paws (within 48 hours of the incident)**

Report the incident as soon as possible so it can be recorded and reviewed.
