# Can I Just Pay $1 For A Booking?

No. Paying a small amount (e.g. $1) through Mad Paws and the rest in cash outside the platform is not allowed under Mad Paws’ Terms of Service.

To be eligible for the Mad Paws Guarantee, the booking must be fully paid through the platform, including a **minimum of $10 per service per day per booking**.

## **Why Full Platform Payment Is Required**

### **1. Eligibility for the Mad Paws Guarantee**

To be eligible under the Mad Paws Guarantee:

* The booking must be fully completed and paid on-platform

* Each service day must meet the **minimum $10 per day requirement**

* Partial or off-platform payments make the booking ineligible

### **2. Safe and secure transactions**

Platform payments ensure:

* Clear payment records

* Secure processing

* Protection for both Pet Owners and Pet Sitters

### **3. Access to support**

Mad Paws can only provide assistance, review, and support for fully paid platform bookings.

### **4. Compliance with platform rules**

All payments must be made through Mad Paws. Off-platform payments (including cash balances) breach Terms of Service and may result in account action for both parties.
